Our Noble Cause
Alabama Pet Pantry is dedicated to ensuring that no pet goes hungry in Jefferson and Shelby Counties. Through our community-driven efforts, we provide vital food support for dogs and cats in times of need. Our mission is rooted in compassion and the belief that every pet deserves a full belly and a wagging tail.

Since its inception in 2019, the Alabama Pet Pantry has distributed over 140,000 pounds of dry pet food and more than 30,000 cans of wet food. It has become a vital resource for families in need within our communities.
Current Initiatives Overview
Food Distribution
Join us for our monthly distributions at three convenient locations! We gather in Hueytown at Old Concord, Montevallo at Shelby Emergency Assistance, and Pelham at Crosscreek Baptist Church. Each event offers essential resources to our community members. We look forward to seeing there!

Each car may pick up food for two separate families, with each family from a different household. Each family can attend only one distribution event per month and must have the signature of an adult over 18 years of age. Each household must have an adult present to sign.
